ABOUT THE THEME
From assurance to architecture
2026's theme asked whether systems could be trusted. 2027 asks how they should be built: openly, so components from different vendors and research groups interoperate; and with enough headroom to scale to real-world demand. Across all 18 tracks, AI and machine learning appear where they belong — as an enabling ingredient inside the engineering problem, not as the headline.
